The Fellowship of the Ring.
THE RACES AND PLACES OF MIDDLE EARTH → Hobbits
It has been remarked that a hobbits only real passion is for food. A rather unfair observation as we have also developed an interest in the brewing of ales and the smoking of pipe weed. But where our hearts truly lie is in peace and quiet and good tilled earth. For all hobbits share a love of things that grow.

30 Day LOTR Challenge - Day 23 Worst Decision By One Of The Characters
"They have taken the bridge and the second hall. We have barred the gates but cannot hold them for long. The ground shakes, drums… drums in the deep. We cannot get out. A shadow lurks in the dark. We can not get out… they are coming."
30 Day LOTR Challenge - Day 18 Best Fight Sequence
“A shrill cry rang out in the night; and he felt a pain like a dart of poisoned ice pierce his left shoulder. Even as he swooned he caught, as through a swirling mist, a glimpse of Strider leaping out of the darkness with a flaming brand of wood in either hand. With a last effort Frodo, dropping his sword, slipped the Ring from his finger and closed his right hand tight upon it.”
***I know a lot of people love the Battle of Pelennor Fields, but I cannot even begin to describe how much I loved the confrontation between the Hobbits/Strider and the Nazgul at Weathertop. It was pure cinematic magic when Viggo Mortensen did that slow head turn towards the camera. This part amazes me to this day still. It really sealed Viggo Mortensen as the perfect Aragorn for me, to be honest!***
30 Day LOTR Challenge - Day 14 A Scene That Always Makes You Laugh
Aragorn: Gentlemen, we do not stop ‘til nightfall.
Pippin: What about breakfast?
Aragorn: You’ve already had it.
Pippin: We’ve had one, yes. What about second breakfast?
[Aragorn turns and walks off]
Merry: I don’t think he knows about second breakfast, Pip.
Pippin: What about elevenses? Luncheon? Afternoon tea? Dinner? Supper? He knows about them, doesn’t he?
Merry: I wouldn’t count on it.
